WMS Storage App

We built a custom warehouse management app for Android scanners to help storage and logistics teams handle daily warehouse operations with more speed, control, and accuracy.

The application was developed in .NET MAUI and connected to the client's Visma environment, creating a single mobile workflow for inbound handling, order picking, pallet processing, inventory checks, truck loading, returns, and label printing.

The Challenge

Warehouse teams were relying on fragmented processes for scanning, stock movements, pallet handling, and shipping preparation. That created unnecessary delays, reduced visibility on the floor, and made it harder to keep inventory actions consistent across different workflows.

Our Solution

We designed a mobile-first WMS application for dedicated warehouse devices with integrated barcode scanning support. The app gives operators a clear task-based interface and supports the core storage workflows they use every day.

• Barcode-driven order picking and bulk picking
• Product and pallet inbound registration
• Product and pallet relocation
• Inventory and pallet inventory counting
• Palletizing, depalletizing, and truck loading
• Returns processing and shipping label printing
• Integration with Zebra, Honeywell, and other scanner hardware

Technical Scope

The app was built as a high-performance Android solution in .NET MAUI with local SQLite storage for device-side persistence, direct scanner integrations, and backend communication with Visma services. It was designed for real warehouse conditions where reliability, fast scan response, and clear operator feedback matter more than unnecessary interface complexity.

Result

The result is a practical warehouse app that streamlines storage operations from receiving to outbound. Staff can work from one mobile system for scanning, moving, counting, loading, and printing, which reduces manual handling and improves operational consistency across the warehouse floor.
